Coral Leheriya Saree

Price on enquiry

Diagonal coral, magenta and gold stripes run corner to corner across the whole field — the leheriya pattern, named for the wave it makes when the cloth moves. The pallu turns navy and carries a printed figurative panel inside a gold and cream border, finished with navy tassels.

Weave and region are read from the cloth and are awaiting confirmation from AHA.

There is no card payment on this site yet. Adding to the bag composes a WhatsApp enquiry to AHA — which is how this category actually buys and sells in Bharat.

The weave

Leheriya is made by rolling the cloth on the bias and binding it at intervals before dyeing, so the stripe is a resist rather than a print. The diagonal is what tells you it was rolled and not folded.

No Handloom Mark, Silk Mark or GI status is recorded for this piece. AHA has not confirmed one, so none is claimed.

Fabric & care
  • Dry clean recommended.
  • If hand washing, cold water only and never soak — the dye is a surface resist.
  • Store folded along the stripe, not across it.
Shipping & returns

AHA has not published a shipping and returns policy yet, so none is stated here. Ask on WhatsApp and it will be confirmed before you pay.
